Leading provider of electrical apprenticeships JTL is opening its doors at centres around the UK during National Apprenticeship Week to prove just how simple it can be to take on an apprentice.

The company already works with more than 3,000 companies in the Building Services Engineering sector, from the largest companies in the sector to small, one and two man bands – and offers a unique set of benefits for employers that increase the quality of training the apprentices receive, increases the rate of successful completions to well above the national average, and provides a team of people to support the apprentices including a named, personal Training Officer who works alongside the apprentice and his or her employer throughout the apprenticeship, ensuring that things run as smoothly as they can.

The Open Days will take place at:

  • JTL Orpington Training Centre in Kent on Tuesday 6th March between 3pm and 7pm.
  • JTL Tankersley Training Centre near Barnsley on Wednesday 7th March between 3pmand 7pm (note Tankersley Training centre does not offer apprenticeships but offers other training opportunities).
  • JTL P&R Hurt Training Centre in Yeovil on Thursday 8th March between 3pm and 7pm.

All employers in the electrical sector are welcome to drop in to any of the Open Days to find out more about JTL and the services it can offer to make the recruitment of apprentices straightforward and to find out more about the other training courses on offer – for existing employees and to refresh their own skills.

“National Apprenticeship Week is the ideal time to welcome employers into our centres to see them for themselves and to find out more about how they might want to attract new blood into their businesses,” says JTL’s commercial director Liam Sammon. “Recruiting an apprentice is almost certainly simpler than you might think and with JTL staff on hand to advise and help with the paperwork, it couldn’t be much simpler.”
