CEF, the UK’s leading electrical wholesaler, has launched a brand-new, priced trade catalogue and website to provide customers with a more transparent, consistent and convenient shopping experience.
The new catalogue, which features every day value prices on all products is a first for the industry and brings much needed pricing consistency and transparency to the electrical wholesale market.
With more than 26,000 electrical products available for next day delivery, including cable and wiring accessories, heating and ventilation, lighting and lamps as well as fixings, hand tools and site equipment, the CEF catalogue is the perfect accompaniment to the electrician’s toolkit.
The catalogue also highlights CEF’s lowest priced everyday Trade Essentials and features Smart Home products from the company’s recently launched Get Smart ,Get Connected range.
“Traditionally, prices in the wholesale industry are determined by a number of factors and could differ from customer to customer or region to region” stated Andrew Moseley, CEF’s Commercial Director, Procurement & Marketing. “The new priced catalogue is part of a wider commitment here at CEF to bring transparency, consistency and better service to our customers.”
In addition to the new catalogue, CEF have also revamped their website to include visible pricing, improved search functionality and guest checkout, allowing them to find and purchase the tools and products they need quickly and easily. Customers will be able to browse more than 32,000 products online and benefit from being able to check stock availability at their nearest store before they ‘click and collect’ or order for next day delivery at a location convenient to them.
“Our customers are making more value-driven buying decisions and want to buy the products they need as conveniently and as simply as possible,” added Mosely. “With the new priced catalogue and website, CEF customers will not only benefit from knowing exactly what prices to expect when they shop with CEF, they will have more choice over how and where they shop – be it online, in store, by phone or through our new catalogue. Anybody looking to buy electrical products will be able to get them at their convenience and will have the same consistent experience wherever and whenever they shop at CEF.”
The new CEF catalogue is available to pick up from any of CEF’s 391 stores nationwide. For more information visit www.cef.co.uk
