FireAngel invests in wholesaler channel growth through dedicated National Account Manager

FireAngel, one of the UK’s leading manufacturers of smoke, heat and carbon monoxide alarms, has strengthened its wholesaler focus through National Account Manager Nick Atkinson, who joined the business earlier this year to drive engagement with national and independent wholesalers across the UK.

Nick brings a wealth of trade experience in the electrical wholesale and distribution sector, having held senior roles at several major industry brands. With an extensive background in national account development, sales leadership and contractor engagement, he has built a strong reputation for helping trade wholesalers grow market share while supporting installers with the tools, training and products required to deliver compliant, professional installations.

In his role at FireAngel, Nick will oversee FireAngel’s nationwide approach to trade wholesaler engagement, ensuring branch managers and branch teams have visibility of the full breadth of FireAngel’s solutions, including Specification Grade D1 alarms, connected IoT solutions and patented technologies. While FireAngel is already a familiar name within electrical distribution.

Nick currently leads a team of Regional Area Managers who cover the UK, with plans to invest in the team further and expand to strengthen regional support even further. This field-based expertise will help wholesalers across the UK, stay ahead of evolving legislation, access tailored training, CPD, provide compliance and certified safety products, and improve their confidence when advising installers at the counter.

Welcoming Nick to FireAngel earlier this year aligns with FireAngel’s wider investment in training and professional development. Nick will be instrumental in driving adoption of the FireAngel Approved Stockist Scheme, which connects wholesalers directly with FireAngel’s rapidly growing Pro Installer Network.
