2018 SEES MACKWELL INDUCTED INTO THE LIGHTING INDUSTRY ACADEMY AS AMBASSADOR

Mackwell is now a Lighting Industry Academy Ambassador following its long established relationship with the LIA by becoming the annual sponsor of The Mackwell Student of the Year Awards for the LIA Certificate Course.
The LIA Certificate Course provides an excellent grounding in lighting technical knowledge and is attended each year by students from across the full spectrum of the lighting supply chain from lighting manufacturers, contractors to electrical distributors and has proven to be the catalyst for many long and very successful careers in the lighting industry.
The association said it welcomes Mackrell involvement as it is not only a leading provider of technology for the global lighting industry but also practices the core principles of the importance of knowledge and training.
Mackrell has supported the Investors in People management standard since 1991 and continues to value the importance of knowledge and training.
As a home for learning and career development, the Academy adopts a collaborative approach, providing a central point of access for lighting related learning and assurance of a consistent quality.
Becoming an ambassador allows major industry players, such as Mackwell, who are passionate about educating the lighting community the opportunity to take a leading role.
As the technology of our industry evolves it is imperative that talented new recruits are attracted to join the key players and seek the opportunities to develop careers within them and the Academy is working to achieve this with the enthusiasm and support of our Ambassadors.
