Rexel UK is gearing up to become an Industrial Controls Partner of Siemens Industrial GB&I.
The move will see Rexel gain more share in the automation market place, with nine key Rexel branches across the country distributing Siemens industrial control products.
These branches will be considered Siemens Industrial GB&I partner branches and are located in Sheffield, Crayford, Runcorn, Leeds, Falkirk, Aberdeen, Birmingham, Oxford and Norwich. The teams are undergoing training and support from Siemens to become technical distributors for the offer.
Siemens Industrial GB&I are one of the largest suppliers of Industrial Control & Automation products in the UK and are continuing to grow and increase their market share – something that Rexel plans to support.
The new offer will include a range of products, from simple pushbuttons, contactors, intelligent motor control, Variable Speed Drives (VSDs) to Logic Module Technology and a full motor offer to IE requirements.
Talks to establish the franchised branch network across Rexel began in 2017 and whilst it is the norm for most Industrial Control suppliers to only work with local and regional specialist distributors, the strength of the Rexel brand globally and the new Rexel offer under one banner across the country helped to secure this partnership.
