When Albrecht Jung founded his company in 1912, three things were important to him: progress, quality and design. These fundamental principles characterise JUNG to this day.
JUNG stands for first-class products “Made in Germany”. Design based on principle and a belief in quality are the building blocks of the brand. And that’s for over 100 years. JUNG thus counts as one of the most important German brands. Since its foundation, the family company based in Sauerland has established itself as a specialist for switches and systems.
The conveying of architecture and the preservation of architectural values is a matter close to our heart. Architects all over the word create their projects using technology and design from JUNG. Examples of this close co-operation are BMW World in Munich, the Reichstag building in Berlin, the University of Economics and Business in Vienna or the Hyatt Capital Gate in Abu Dhabi.
Beyond short-lived trends, there are designs which never go out of fashion. This includes the classic LS 990 switch. Characteristic design and the highest level of quality have been at its essence for almost 50 years. The classic has been consistently developed as the flush-mounted variant LS ZERO.
Design is thus given a new architectural quality. This innovation was presented with the German Design Award 2017, the Iconic Award Interior Innovation 2017 and the archiproducts Design Award 2016. JUNG has also received the high distinction of “Most Innovative Brand” at the Plus X Awards.
