CONGRATULATIONS TO THE WINNERS OF THE ELECTRICAL INDUSTRY AWARDS 2021!

Electrical contractors, manufacturers, suppliers and industry organisations tuned in last night for the Electrical Industry Awards 2021. Organised by Electrical Times magazine and hosted by meteorologist and BBC weather presenter Sarah Keith-Lucas, the virtual event rewarded a whole host of proactive approaches to individual achievement, technical innovation, and supply-chain collaboration.

Speaking at the Awards, Editor of Electrical Times Lisa Peake, said:
“The past 18 months have been unprecedented, and with everything that’s been thrown at the electrical industry, it’s more important than ever to celebrate the fantastic people and organisations within it. After all, it’s the hard work and adaptability of those within the electrical sector, that has allowed vital services to remain open throughout the pandemic.
And the pandemic hasn’t been the only thing to worry about. With Brexit’s impact on the supply chain, the industry has experienced just about every shortage possible – shortages of staff, materials, drivers…
But by embracing change and demonstrating incredible resilience, the industry has been able to thrive despite these challenges. You should all be very proud of what you have achieved.”
This year’s winners included: MK Electric, Holophane Europe, Simmtronic, Test Instrument Solutions, National Electrotechnical Training (NET), Learning Lounge.com, and EvoEnergy
Personal achievement was also celebrated with the Apprentice of the Year being awarded to Tom Jones – SSE. Contractor of the Year was awarded to Sudlows , and Denmans Electrical took home the award for Wholesaler of the Year.
